Best place to visit for camping if you’re at Pawna lake in Thakursai village.
They provided good, healthy and home cooked food🍗🍖🍲. Good music. Great service after all.
Ganesh Kale, the owner did not disappoint us. The staff was soo friendly and cooperative.

And they respect guest!! Must visit!!! 💯

It's an absalutly bueatiful place, with the nicest staff, but if you are looking for a quite place where u can chill and enjoy nature, you should probably avoid this place.

While everyone was trying to sleep there was a group and 10 that stayed up all night, drinking and being very noisy. Also the staff would play music at extremely high volume for hours.

Visited this lake in monsoon on weekends (July Weekend)
Less crowd.
Chilling wind and scenery along the way.
No camping in monsoon I guess but a great place to visit.

Its a great place to spend your weekend.....This place is a developed camping Site Situation near Pawana Dam......The Camping Site consists of Different types of Tents with a great Dam View..... There are different sports and activities..... Bonfire and Barbeque at the site .......All over great picnic place... Must visit place!!!!

It's a fun place to hangout and have a different experience than your regular get together in someones home. Wash rooms are fairly clean. Overall, quite satisfactory.

Camping is incredibly near to a dam with cool water where you can simply sit on rocks and dip your legs. a really serene and cool environment. If you arrive by 4 pm and camp there in tents, you will have views of day, night, and sunrise. Weekends were discovered to be packed, with approximately 100 people each campsite due to the adjacent availability of more than 100 lake campsites. Every campsite offer has around the same price and characteristics. Public restrooms are accessible. Parking is plentiful. In Evening der is fun for kids, but it's really cool because the lakeside temperature drops to 10-15 degrees very soon. Bringing a power bank and a winter coat would be a smart move.

It was my first camping and was very nice experience, enjoyed it. It is situated very close to pawana lake, nice sunset view. Food and service quality is very good. Well maintained, having lots of different activities inside like cricket, badminton, carrom, archery, dance floor, BBQ. Good place to visit with family. Need to improve toilet condition. Overall it's good place to visit with family and friends.

Great option to spend your weekend away from your city tensions, Lake side was really amazing. Although sleeping in camp/tent is not at all that great experience than it sounds. But, you get to enjoy.

Enjoy the wonder of nature by paying awhen you are in Pune. Its paradise location is something that you will not be able to forget anytime soon. The setting at Pawna Lake is made beautiful with the presence of various tourist attractions like Lohagad Fort, Tikona Fort, Tung Fort and Visapur Fort. Its refreshing ambience makes this place a beautiful destination near Lonavala and Khandala to enjoy an idyllic weekend.

The place is awsm... And the staffs are the best and most understanding... We can enjoy freely without any staff or others interference... The ambiance and all are same as shown in the pic on Google... Food was nyce... Tents were spacious and comfortable... Would love to visit again

Wonderful environment, good service, enjoyed barbeque and music. Nice place.
As we come to enjoy quality time with family we feel that you should not allow drinks there. Provide separate toilets and washrooms for ladies. Your toilets were not clean also.

A budget camping destination very close to Pawana Dam's backwater lake.

Great for groups but very subjective when it comes to family with younger kids as its a place where people come to enjoy over loud music, food, alcohol, smoke etc. So keep that expectation clear before booking.

The view is overlooking the lake with Tung hill fort in backdrop sets perfect sunset scene. Lake at literally at walking distance.

The approach road leading to this place and numerous other camping site here, is in bad shape, for last 1.5 kms.

The camping cost ranges from 1k to 1.5k which includes evening snacks and tea at arrival, BBQ and dinner, tent charges and breakfast before moving out. So overall value for money for an experience.

During night time, this place becomes beautiful with lots of selfie spot lightened up with fairy lights.

This place often gets crowded during weekends. Washrooms are clean but easily gets soiled with increasing crowd during peak time.

The tents are generally ok for a lakeside camping experience. Take mosquitoes repellent for safer side.

Pavana Lake camping site is situated approximately 45 Kms away from Pune. This place is very much close to the lake and we can have spendid view of the Pawana lake and the 'Tung Fort' which is in the middle of the lake. We have spend one weekend (Saturday) at this place and our experience was very nice. They offer optimum sized tents as per no. of guest, veg. and non-veg food and barbeque as well. For entertainment games are available (Chess, carrom, badminton, cricket, archary). On weekends we can witness live performance. Cleanliness is maintained very well. It's kid friendly place where we can visit with family, or in groups.

Awesome Place. A completely different experience from your busy life. Food is awesome. Staff kind and polite. Tents are good. Only thing is they should improve on DJ part. There is no network there and they keep playing songs from youtube so they have to stop songs again and again. DJ system should be stable. Rest all is good.

Food and experience was really great. I cut 2 stars just because of timing of dinner and other activities. It was family campaign and they serve food at 11.00 PM. My 2.5 year kid get irritated because of hunger.And bonfire start after 12.00 AM. My mother and kid wants to sleep at that time but there was so much noise at midnight. I just feel they should maintain their schedule timing.

It was in my wish list since long which has come true through Pavana Lake Camping Owner. Booked through BookMyShow App. The ambience was mind blowing. Food has home like flavour. Hospitality was beyond words. Spent quality time in Nature's lap. Overall, I am rating 5 stars as everything was complete in all respect and that also within budget. I would further select Pavana Lake Camping for my repeat trip. Fully enjoyed...!!!

Great location, awesome hospitality by Mr. Ganesh (Host), chilled out ambience, perfect service, delicious food,... I could go on and on about my experience at the campsite!❤️
The tents were well-maintained, clean washrooms, etc. The list goes on!
